This is to better understand your dog and see what healthy play looks like. This is NOT for any dogs that have aggression problems regarding biting.

The Canine Bond Dog Trainers Course

This 6 week course is an intensive course for those that want to get into dog training, want to broaden their education about dog behavior or those that work in the dog industry and want further education.
Classes start Saturday April 27th and will be every Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm.
You will learn how to teach others how to train their dog, dog behavior including the 13 aggressions, and working hands on with dogs including your own.
You must also complete an 8 week (twice a week) group class with me to gain experience as well as attend 8 hours of studying dog behavior at the dog daycare.
Cost: $3600
Please email if you would like to join our team! This will be the second trainers course that I've taught using my approach (I also taught for someone else for 4 years). We are a tight group that supports and works together. Once you are done this course, you are never left on your own. We are always there to help and support you when you need

Socialization Therapy

The Canine Bond Center provides an environment that focuses on your dog’s socialization skills. The Socialization Program is designed to be at a pace that our dogs are comfortable with and will not overwhelm them.

There are a limited number of dogs in the Socialization Program. We are familiar with all of our dogs. Our goal is to build your dog’s self-confidence, not undermine it.

WHY
A socialized dog is a more stable, well rounded, confident pet with better coping skills.
Lack of socialization can result in a dog that is fearful of people, other dogs and new experiences. Fear can even lead to aggression.

WHEN

The Canine Bond Center is open Monday to Friday for Caledonia residents. The Socialization Program runs on Mondays and Friday, from 10:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. We will pick your dog up in the morning and deliver him or her home in the afternoon.

Saturdays have been set aside for specific behavioral cases.

Socialization programs

This is reserved for Saturdays. This is for dogs that do not get along with other dogs, dogs that have bitten or are too frightened to be in a pack environment. Using my dogs, we work on your dog slowly until he or she builds up confidence and trust to be with more dogs.
This is by appointment only: location is The Canine Bond in Caledonia.
Cost is $20 per hour

Added Spring Class

Hi everyone

I had such a large response for my Sunday/Wednesday classes that I needed to add another class:

So I did break it up in demographics which means Sunday/Wednesdays will be in Burlington and Hamilton below the escarpment (there is 1 spot left for this class) Starting this Sunday April 2.

And a new Saturday/Tuesday class that will be held in Caledonia, Binbrook and Hamilton mountain parks.

This new one has a lot of room still for enrollment. Saturdays will be 10:30-12 and Tuesdays will be 7-8:30pm This class will start after easter Tuesday April 18

I am cutting it off to 7 dogs in class.

A deposit of $250 is required in order to enroll in class so it is first come first serve basis.

Please let me know asap if you are interested.

Spring Classes 2017

I will be running a spring class starting Sunday April 2nd.

The classes will be Sunday/Wednesday classes.

Sundays will be 12-1:30pm and Wednesdays will be 7-8:30pm

The classes will be in Hamilton and Burlington parks. I change park locations each class.

Classes are $500

I will only be having 7 dogs max in class. To enroll in class, a deposit of $250 must be email transferred or a cheque sent (4149 River Road, Caledonia, ont, N3W 1T4)

Your dog will need a martingale collar and regular 6 foot leash. I will have martingales on me for the first day in case anyone wants to know more about them.

Classes are all about learning how to be a leader, learning how to communicate to your dog, socialization, how to mentally stimulate your dog, off leash walking and so much more

There is no treats for classes! I want you to learn to speak dog. I want your dog to love and respect you and I want to show your dog that you will love and respect him or her in return.

Please call or email me if you have further questions.

I am so excited to start a new set of classes. I absolutely love teaching these classes and watching dogs grow and learn. And the owners :)
